*Even more Air Flow from an 'E' or 'G' carb*
*S&S AIR BLEED ONLY REWORK*
Since 2003 S&S has been installing a replaceable air bleed in all their carbs (see picture, it's
the one just to the right of the main jet). This air bleed controls at what rpm the main fuel circuit
begins to feed fuel. By installing a larger air bleed and raising the rpm at which the main circuit
comes in can improve the midrange and reduce stumble caused by an over rich condition.  

If this is a condition affecting your
pre 2003 carb with a fixed air bleed then send it in so
'TRIPLE X CARBURETOR'
can bring it up to date.

Some simple machining and
$30 is all it takes to get all the performance the S&S has to offer.

high flow squirt for faster acceleration.
Pump cover is modified to accept a
viton rubber 'O' ring for

REPAIR DAMAGED IDLE MIXTURE SCREW HOLE IN
CARB BODY

If your carb runs rich at idle, can't adjust idle mixture, it's
possible someone turned the idle mixture screw in too tight
and cracked the carb housing. See if the metal surrounding
the idle mixture hole near butterfly is bulging out. If so most
shops consider this a non repair item and your carb is scrap.
This can now be repaired at Triple X. Damaged area is
machined and a new idle mixture hole is created saving the
carb body!

motor can draw more air and perform like a

Note: Bored carbs will not affect the mounting brackets or air filter assemblies. All mods are
within the carb. Bored 'E' carbs are good on any size v-twin.
Bored 'G' carbs should be used on 96 inch motors and above.

The 'E' carb is bored out to a new venturi size of 42.2MM (7% increase)
The 'G' carb is bored out to a new venturi size of 47.6MM  (7% increase)
