Calibration:
- Size air bleeds to specifications.
Adjustable air bleeds are installed.
- Test and equalize fuel emulsion system.
- Modify and calibrate squirter system to
eliminate bogs, sags and hesitation.
- Power valve (enrichment) and main
circuits (jets) are calibrated.
Flow Testing and Quality Control:
- Tested on a superflow bench for correct
and even flow.
- Quality tested on a race engine with
float level and idle preset for out of the box operation.
Machining and Blueprinting:
- Modify all circuits for correct size and
clear all passages of casting obstructions.
- Machine metering plate, main body and
baseplate surfaces for flatness. Square as needed.
- Blueprint all bosses (threads, throttle
shaft bores, booster pads).
- Increase and balance airflow by blending
and contouring venturis, milling choke horn (4150) and profiling throttle
shafts.
Performance Coating:
- All parts coated to a high luster.
Precision Assembly:
- Welded linkage, button-head butterfly
screws.
- Premium non-stick gaskets used
throughout.
- Blueprinted, hi-flow needle and seats
and squirters.
- Extra tall vent tubes installed.
Other Dominator Modifications:
- Idle tude is modified to remove
restrictions in main well to control fuel ration.
- Internal system is modified to aid
response and gearshift consistency.
- CNC billet boosters with 12 hole fuel
passage with 7 degree exit.
